However, if you do not wish to use Adsense or other advertising, your only option is to sell paid subscription where certain portions of your content are available only to premium subscribers. But if you want a totally free and accessible Web magazine, advertising is a way to go (just like printed magazines which survives not by the subscription amount but through advertising).
