Adsense offers you the chance to use two types of channels. URL Channels and Custom Channels. URL Channels

  • There is no need to add a channel id in the Adsense code

Custom Channels

  • Keep track of different Ads you have made
  • You add the channel id for a certain ad in the Adsense code

Google offers you a total of 200 channels. If you have a large digit of websites, this means that you will have to use Ad Channels wisely. But, most publishers won’t use more than 100 channels.
