I know there are x billion blogs throughout the Internet. I’m trying to find out roughly how many of them are employing some kind of advertising model to generate revenue for themselves (rather than selling something, or being a part of some larger website, etc) through one of the Ad networks such as Google AdSense or Yahoo Publisher Network.

I’m writing a business plan, so I’d like to include a reference/citation so if someone can point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it.

Oh, and if you know how many "x" billion really is, I’d be grateful for that info too.
