For beginners, a way to make money from internet giveaways is to enrol as a member for free and download all the gifts. Just one of these sites will probably hand you virtually all you need to make money on the internet. You can usually download ebooks or software that you can resell, together with the sales website to sell them from, and lots of information on bringing traffic to your new site.

But that is not the best way to make money from a giveaway. You will profit much more if you have something to offer yourself, and build yourself a list of internet marketers who will buy from you.

1. Upload a good gift – something that people will actually be glad to have.

2. Upload your gift and test your signup process before the doors open. Most visitors will come in the first 24 hours.

3. Have a paid product that people will see right away when they sign up for your gift. For example you can show this offer on the download page for your free gift. I find that a low priced product is most effective ($5 to $15).

4. Send your subscribers the download page link in an email from your autoresponder, even if they already went straight there after they confirmed. Then they have another chance to buy your paid product.

5. Line up more emails from your autoresponder, giving either additional information or more bonuses.

6. After that, you can start to promote your higher priced products (or affiliate products). Remember that you want the free gift to attract subscribers who will buy your later offers, so choose your free gift carefully.

7. Always promote the internet giveaway. If you do not have your own list, there are many free methods such as safelists. Do something every day. This will increase your contributor points so your gift is shown higher on the list where more people will see it.

8. If there is an upgrade where you have the chance to buy your gift a higher slot, I always take it. It pays.

Last but not least, keep watching the site statistics. Is your offer getting as many subscribers as the others on the same page? Is your upsell making sales? Are your new subscribers staying on your list? There are so many things you can work on to increase your sales.
