Beware the AdSense Ready Website Scam

You need to understand how duplicate content is regarded by the search engines to know if “AdSense ready websites” can really work. A website that is an exact copy of another site, or one of many copies, will never be given the importance needed by the search engines to get enough traffic to make money from AdSense or any type of web page advertising.

Because it is so easy to add AdSense ad units to any type of website the definition of what constitutes an AdSense ready website is very broad. There are so many different sizes and formats of AdSense ads including text ads, image ads and link units that can fit into any existing website design. There are different ad sizes that can fit anywhere on the page including under the page logo, in the navbar, in the body text, or just above the footer. Of course AdSense ad units should be in the path of your visitors’ eye, so they need to be near the important visual elements on the page.

An “AdSense ready website” is, in the best sense, a website infrastructure that can be up and running quickly and is ready to have the content added. Content includes page titles, headings, body text, images & hyperlinks. The website should be easy to manage including automatic navigation structure, search engine optimization, and content management system, as well as having the AdSense ads already incorporated into the design.

You could buy a ready-made HTML website template with AdSense ads built in, but this will probably not save you much time because it would still require a lot of work to create the individual pages and navigation for them.

The most efficient solution is a blog-style site such as a ready made WordPress template. You can find many free templates that have AdSense already incorporated into the design, and you can easily add AdSense ad units to almost any WordPress template using an AdSense plugin.

There are many shortcuts to creating a website, but having original content is essential if you want the website to draw enough traffic to make money from ads.

I have been in Internet Marketing for many years. I already use AdSense, AdBrite, Text Ads, PerformancingAds and several others. Most cases, such as AdSense thrive on website content, but my website is very similar to Flickr and is 95% images with very little text. I need something more suited to image ads/content. (Yes, I use AdSense banners already). Thanks everyone.
To clarify, the issue is not with the traffic amount, the issue is with the CPM. The CPM number has dropped significantly, while traffic has maintained itself. The question is inquiring into different types of advertising (ie: watermarked photos, ads that appear in the footer area of a photo, etc, etc) Thanks.

Does geographical targeting of ads apply for image ads also? for eg: if a particular image ad is being displayed in my country, will it be the same in USA? And somebody please tell me if image ads can be filtered using "Competetive ads filter" like Text ads.
thanks imisidro but you're not gettin the point here. I didn't say that i'm using image ads ONLY!! i know about bidding and high paying ads. I blog about plastic surgery and my ads are up to 5 or 10 $ per click and sometimes even more. the thing i wanna know is this: i filter the ads which appear in my blog in USA region. i'm an asian so i don't filter ads that appear here coz all of my visitors are from USA. Yesterday i put an image ad to my page and a crappy MFA site's ad comes in my page. Now i wanna know if the same ad appears in USA or not like Text Ads. and thanks for all your advices on adsense. appreciate that.

How many Google Text ads not image ads am I allowed to put on my blog?
