Many people who want to make money online will jump righ in before they are properly trained. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don’t just jump right in unprepared.

This applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who’d have you believe it’s a “Walk in the Park” and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

The reality is that for most people they will not make any money online and for others they will make a year’s income in one month. Why is that?

The age old question which asks “what comes first the chicken or the egg”? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion – I have no clue and I don’t think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Many internet “gurus” feet that they are so good at what they do that they may ignore passion because they have been so successful. I would be concernced about those marketers who are not as knowledgeable to operate a successful online business.

Now, I’m not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. To be truly successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Most of these things can be found in the company you join – but if you have no passion then you do reduce your changes of success..

For the most part internet marketing not all that difficult but it does take motivation and time driven by Passion to get you running with a sustained effort.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don’t find it move on,

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I’ll start that business – does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet “guru” does that, don’t be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.

Note: By the way it’s your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.

You must remember there are other steps you must take before moving into Internet Marketing but if you don’t first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Here is a question I got a few days ago from one of my blog readers:

“What internet marketing business should I venture into? There are so many different ways to make money online, and every one of them is touted as the ‘best’. What do you think is really the best?”

That’s a great question. And I wish there was an easy answer…

But candidly, there is no “best” web marketing business to go into. All of them have their own particular advantages and disadvantages.

You just have to find the right one for you–and that’s the key to winning in internet marketing.

Examine where your strengths are and build a business around those. Focus on the things that you appreciate most and feel passionate about and find a way to profit from them.

For example, I love business. I love everything about it–the strategy, the marketing, the tactics–everything.

Plus, I have a winning track record of launching and running many new businesses. So I know that I have a unique strength there.

Besides, I’m constantly searching for new and more efficient ways to evolve my internet marketing products business. So when it came to creating an internet business model, I went with the one thing I could dominate and go after with a passion–helping others to do the same.

Obviously, it was the right choice. I get to do what I love the most and still have the freedom and liberty to spend more time with my family.

So detect those same strengths and passions in yourself and seek out ways to design a business around them. One of the easiest ways to do this is by setting up a membership program.

Each month, you can charge your subscribers for access to content on a certain subject. This model has LARGE-SCALE potential because you build something once, then get paid time and again with very little maintenance.

Practically every successful guru I know has a membership program of some sort. In fact, my former client, Mike Filsaime, recently added another six-figures to his monthly income with a special approach that took in just over 10,000 new leads.

Now, I don’t know if the continuity  model is right for you. You’ve got to decide that for yourself.

But I do think it’s worth looking at.

If this seems like something you’d like to pursue further, Your best bet is to find out which business is most logical for you.

Many people are participating in blogging. It can be a lot of fun. Many folks enjoy writing a blog about their passion or hobby. Some blog to gain attention for their business. Whatever the reason for writing a blog you will most likely want to try to make money from it at some point. Once you learn how to start a blog, start writing good content, and gain visitors, you will be able to make some money.

You can make money bloging in numerous ways. Advertisements can be sold. You can join an affiliate program and collect a commission on products you recommend and your readers purchase. You can sell your own products. You can make money blogging in just abouit any method you can creatively think of.

The following are but a few of the options available to a blogger for making money from their writing and content. All are not necessarily good for every blog. If you are writing a political blog with conservative views then posting Google Adsense advertisements may not work as well as getting a commission from selling political books.

Probably the most common means of making money with your blog these days is through the Google Adsense program. This prgram allows you to place Google Adwords on your blog, otherwise known as Adsense, and if visitors click on an ad then Google will share in the revenue.

Is Adsense right for your blog? For instance, if you created a blog about golf and wrote a post about ladies golf clubs. The ad unit would hopefully display ads about ladies golf clubs or at the least golf clubs. Each time a visitor clicks on any of these ads, you would share in the revenue with Google. When your earnings reach at least a hundred dollars, Google would then send you a check.

Other ways of making money with your blog include affiliate programs where you promote products and services in exchange for a commission. There are numerous programs such as Shareasale, Commission Junction and in-house programs like Amazon.com that you can apply to. Manmy big name companies with large advertising budgets might buy ad space on your blog if you get a large number of visitors. An online store could be set up, linked from your blog, to sell goods you create or dropship.

The methods for making money from blogging are very easy to do. The difficulty is actually marketing your blog so visitors will buy the products you are offering.
