Pay Per Click Traffic Pays Dividends

There have been many articles written about me, especially going back a few years when I gained some measure of fame as a twelve year with my own web design company. It’s kind of funny, because I had actually been doing that since I was eleven and had been paid for working on nearly twenty different sites before a local newspaper reporter had a slow day and wrote up a feature about me. That first article got picked up by the national papers and next thing I knew I was on talk shows and being featured in magazines and web profiles. It was what we’d now refer to as going viral.

Business has been good, because these early. I finished high school and spent a year sharpening my Java and Ajax skills. I’m still heavily involved in web site development, but one of the things I’ve learned as I’ve grown personally and professionally, am to understand my limitations. I do a good job of building quality web sites that are functional, attractive and reasonably priced. That’s what I’m good at. However, I am not a marketing guru. Therefore, when a company engaged in the service, I create a new site for them, what I can do is to effectively optimize their website’s search engine. Nor can I magically direct web traffic to their new site. I usually recommend a company engage an SEO services firm to fine-tune my work, then hire a marketing firm to implement a pay per click program that will get them the traffic they want to see.

I set up the website for their company and there were no significant changes in it from the first day. I made some changes to address some of the early rash code (and what do you expect from a 12-year-old?) and I grudgingly dropped in a Flash intro, but that’s been about it. A few years ago, I hired an SEO services consultant who did an awesome job of rewriting my content and that led to a significant boost in hits via visitors who reached my site from search engines. Earlier this year, I decided I would like to withdraw from the big guns and the expansion of. This time, I hired a marketing research company we offer through the words Google AdSense and I have been exposed to pay-per-click through a lot of traffic increased, so that I can barely keep up with orders.

On Page SEO: SEO is the art of designing a site in a fashion that gives the site an advantage for obtaining free and abundant traffic from search engines. While the cost for each pay-per-click scheme is not better or faster way to generate traffic. If your site is new, it is wise to begin to pay-per-click program, while others have a free way to transport development. Once other free methods begin to bear traffic, dependency on a PPC program can be reduced or eliminated.

E-mail marketing: As the name suggests, this is a technical marketing your site by sending e-mail to potential clients. Your first problem, e-mail marketing is a legal and targeted list of email addresses belonging to people who are interested in. If your site is new you probably don’t have a list. No problem however, a list can be bought. Your homework to ensure that the list has been effective to buy the name and address, the major interest in your product or service.

Affiliate Marketing: Affiliate Marketing is a technology, including the sale of other products or services. The concept is that you solicit other websites that are relevant to your web business to advertise and drive traffic to your site. Of course to get others to do this there has to be compensation. You will simply share your profits and sales efforts to branch sites to send traffic to your site. Although you may not like the idea of splitting your profits, affiliate marketing can make you more successful.

In order to be a success in affiliate marketing, you need these main three things to completely master this discipline: optimism, discipline and the proper tools to achieve your success goals.

Negativity is all around us and, in the absence of success, a little voice will creep up on you and say that you can't ever be successful, that you might as well give it up forever.

Never ever heed that voice! Have a very optimistic approach.

The great inspirational speaker Les Brown said that if you go after that thing you want: “with all your capacity, strength and sagacity; faith, hope and confidence and stern pertinacity…..If you besiege and beset it, with the help of God you’ll get it!”

Discipline yourself to learn all you can about affiliate marketing and know that you must test, test and when you’re done, test some more. Stay the course and constantly look over affiliate programs and their advantages as well as disadvantages.

Choose your products to sell wisely, giving up only after you've taken plenty of time with it to justify giving up and having tested it completely.

An affiliate marketers' tools are vital to his success. There are many, but here are a few key tools just to get you started on the path:

1) SEO- search engine optimization is a tool that can get your websites on the first page of Google’s ( and other search engines) search. A skill more than a tool, it's still sorely needed.

2) Autoresponder-now that Google is changing the way it deals with affiliate links, you’ll more than likely need landing, or opt-in pages, where visitors are encouraged to leave their name and email in order to get to the next level of viewing and getting more information about a particular product.

Doing this will create a list of buyers for you that you can market multiple products to. Some dedicated affiliate marketers have lists of 100,000 and more to market to.

3) Blog or Website- you need a home on the internet, someplace where others may find you and what it is that you do.

That place is your blog or website. You can establish yourself as the "go to guy" in your particular field and attract more and newer visitors to your site.

Once at your blog/website, they can fill out the opt-in form and join your list and enjoy whatever content you put there. Continuing to put a constant stream of valuable, consistent content will definitely draw more visitors/potential buyers.

These are just a few of the many tactics. There are quite a few others.

Google loves WordPress.com

This is a case study one of the top social sites to post to, WordPress.com.  Correct use of this site will help raise your search engine page ranking much higher than a lot of other social linking and social information web sites. Have you noticed how much Google loves WordPress.com.com.  I don’t mean the blog you have at your web host or server, I mean the blogs hosted by wordpress at their site.  If you create a blog with some good information in it, it will be listed very high in page ranking. Here’s a real world example.  For Reno Modern Luxury Homes, a wordpress.com site was created as well with a blog title of Reno Luxury Modern Homes – http://renohomes.wordpress.com/. A post named Reno Modern Luxury Homes For Sale was created as well.  The user name for the site is renohomes – It’s a good idea to have your user name contain keywords as well.  If you do a search for Reno Modern Luxury Home, you’ll see that as I write this the top 2 spots are the wordpress.com tag pages for tags put on that blog.  The 3rd and 4th links are the actual site. If you do a search for Reno Modern Homes, you’ll see that the first spot is the actual site itself which is RenoModernHomes and the #2 position is the wordpress.com blog post Reno Modern Luxury Homes For Sale. Tags are incredibly important as you can see from the first Search Engine Results Page (SERP).  the first 2 listings are in fact tags that were created and put on the http://renohomes.wordpress.com blog.  The fist google listing is for the tag reno-modern-luxury-home-for-sale and the second is for the tag reno-nevada.  Variations on the searches prove fruitful as well.  Reno Luxury Contemporary Homes brings a page 1 position 1 and 2 of the tags used!  A search for Reno Luxury Homes brings a page 1 position 6 ranking. Adding a tag for the company Pavich and Associates brings a page 1 position 3 position in a google search, the first 2 are the Pavich and Associates company website.  All of this with one blog and 1 post. Just a case study from some internet marketers who discovered that Google truly loves WordPress.com
